SERVICE
“I enjoy serving others because I love to see happiness in people. Making one person smile and be happy is the best! It also allows me to remain humble and teaches me how to be more grateful for what I have!”
Clegg Monroe, 12th Grade, Hickory High School
FELLOWSHIP
“I enjoy fellowship at youth group because I like hanging out with my friends and it is a place where I feel welcomed!”
Wyatt Fisher, 10th Grade, University Christian High School
RETREATS
“I enjoy youth retreats because they are fun and unlike any in the Hickory area. As a member of the youth group, one of the best things about being involved is the bond you can form with different kids and the input into what activities we get to do.”
Henry Winfield, 12th Grade, University Christian High School
“One of my favorite youth activities is the Big Chill winter retreat because it really brings everyone closer together and allows some time away from home to relax and recharge!”
Ainlsey Richardson, 11th Grade, University Christian High School
MISSION TRIPS
“FPC mission trips are life-changing experiences with people who become your family. I have always grown closer to God and the people around me (locals and other youth/advisors). It is such a great feeling to help others that are less fortunate and see the big, bright smile on their face when you finish!”
Maggie Nichols, 11th Grade, Hickory High School
FAITH FORMATION
“I love Montreat because you get to meet people from all over the East and have fun while getting closer to the Lord!”
Sarah Brooks, 11th Grade, St. Stephens High School
